Why is my salt cell not generating chlorine?
Often it isn't the cell. Scale on the plates, low salt, a stuck flow switch, or a drifted salinity reading will all stop chlorine production — and Tampa Bay's hard fill water scales cells faster than most. How often should I clean my salt cell, and can I use muriatic acid?

We use a properly diluted acid wash only when scale actually calls for it, as part of a flow and salinity check.

Capacity. Hayward rates the T-CELL-3 for pools up to 15,000 gallons, the T-CELL-9 up to 25,000, and the T-CELL-15 up to 40,000.
